hooray!!!! my speech is finally over. yeah, we did speeches and I did my speech on what life was like 100 years ago. I got seriously nervous before it was my turn to do it because last Wednesday Miss Boldger said if anyone wants to get it over and done with that they should do it now. so... I did it. It went a whole lot better than I thought It would go because I managed to keep a clear voice and not stutter the whole time! Well all I'm basically saying is..... Yes! Speeches are over!

maths!!!

At maths I am pretty good at adding large numbers together, finding the number that's been split, adding fractions together that have the same number at the bottom, division working form and also minusing large numbers. Some things that I probably need to work on are adding fractions.

Rome

Something interesting that I learnt this week is probably going to have to be.... Rome! Well today I was in my reading group ( The werewolf's) learning about how Rome began and what happened in the later times too. I learnt lots and lots of facts that I never knew before e.g. Julius Cesar was murdered by the other senators because they were worried that he was becoming too powerful.
So in conclusion I really just learnt about the facts Rome and that was it.

my october holidays 2012

In the first week of my holidays I went to an art school called Inverlochy. If you've been there before then you'll know what I'm talking about, I mean do you? well please comment if you do, Thanks. Anyway  it is the funnest holiday program ever so I really recommend looking it up and try going to it ( if you like art). Well I usaly do the kids class but I was too old for it so I moved up to the teen's class and it was actualy really good because I learned how to do lots of techneaks for not just drawing but painting too.

In my second week of the holidays my grandparents came up from twizel to look after me and my sister and my cousin George also came with them too. i had heaps of fun in the week with them but my favouritest thing was going on the cable car. have you been on the cable car? Today I'm doing a post about my art that I did for the cards, diary's and calandars that you can order. we did printing for our things and the design I did was a snake wrapped around a ying yang here's a picture of it. if you don't like it thats ok but I think that it's pretty cool!

terminator 4 rocks!!!

Hi, this week Im doing a review about terminator 4 ( terminator salvation). I enjoyed all four movies but terminator 4 was just that little bit better. one of the main characters is in all the terminator movies exept the 4th one and his name is arnold swartzaniger and he has done some really funny lines and scenes e.g. In number three when he was a good terminator and was takeing all this food from a shop to help some people who were going to be leading a resistnce in the future and when he was walking out the door the shop cashear said "Um are you going to pay for that" the terminator pulled his hand up in front of the cashear and said "Talk to the hand!" It was halerealous. There is also another character who was in the same amount of movies as arnold swartzaniger ecsept he wasn't in number one instead of number 4. His name is john connor and he is being protected because he is supost to lead the humans to victory against the terminators in the not so far away future. what i liked about the 4th one though is that theres this man whos done something bad and was sentanced to death but this lady came to him a day before it was supposed to happen and asked him if he wanted to live again (she was bacicley asking him to donate his body to them for science) and he sold his body for a kiss which took the lady by surprise but she didn't care because she now owned his body. when he was dizzy and almost dead the lady said "Thankyou for doing this. You wont regret it!". In the future he comes back to life but I cant tell you what as because I don't want to ruin a good surprise! But I will tell you that he saves everyone in the movie and a hero but he dies again. But again I will not tell you how or when because again I'm really tring to get you excited and curious so you will watch the movie. Its over already!!?!

Well the production is over. It was already one week ago and all that time we put into preparing for it is already gone. It isint all bad because it was a huge hit and everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.... or that at least what I think. I recon I enjoyed being the wolf the most because he actualy had a speaking part and it was actualy pretty big. I also enjoyed all the lines that the wolf said because they all had to do with? ....... You guessed it BACON!!!!!!! I still did enjoy being the horse too because he was quite a funny, quiet character but still good. well this isint all about me I mean everyone else did just as great as me and probibley even greater. Im guessing that you went to the production too? Well if you didnt I really recomend getting the dvd. If you have would you want to see it again? Who was your favorate character?

production time!? only two weeks left to practice!?!

my schools production is coming up in just a few weeks! im a bit nervis because i've never had a speaking part in a production before so this should be interesting. i have a speaking part as the wolf which is a crazy character who loves bacon and terrorising pigs. i think that this will be the funiest production we have ever done. do you think it will be as good as i do? and do you have tickets yet for the production?

My favourite Olympic sport

My favourite sport is swimming because I have done swimming for about 7to8 years and in that time I have always had a favourite stroke and that’s breath stroke. So that’s why I like the swimming. In the swimming the athletes are entered in the races which they are most strong at so they have a good chance of getting gold. Personally my favourite one was the breath stroke. I quite enjoyed cheering for NZ when they did their strokes. Well that’s my favourite sport what’s yours?   

End of term 1

I have got 100% in my basic facts test more than twice so thats one goal complete for this term but one thing I need to work on is subtracting bigger numbers. I'm also still working on getting my next badge. Next term the electives start and I'm hoping to get into creative computers but if I don't get into that I will still get to do my second option art attack. I'm really looking forward to next term, are you?
